Amy has really helped my child's confidence grow. He has found great joy in seeing amy each week and he really trusts her. My child has learnt to control his emotions and he is so much happier.
Amy has been a very supportive and thoughtful play therapist for our child during our period of working out co-parenting plans together. Her sessions have always been very inspiring for her and she has enjoyed adopting some of the strategies or techniques of well-being that Amy introduced to her. Amy is great at understanding and appreciating the necessity of mental health and well-being for children and families and offered practical, play-focused, holistic tips and advice for children to feel more confident in adjusting to changes in family life and school life.
We have noticed that Amy's play therapy sessions have made a real difference to the child she is working with. This child is now appearing more confident and is able to verbalise his emotions rather than him becoming angry. This child seems happier and more joyful and looks forward to his sessions every week. Amy is a warm, kind and very understanding professional.
I have a full enhanced DBS disclosure and I am registered with the British Association of Play Therapists, which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
